...and I'm a lurker (an almost every day lurker at that). I retired, moved from California to Nevada for the sake of my sanity and savings, and I'm finally getting my shop set up. I enjoy making all sorts of things from metal and wood as a hobby. I also have always maintained and modified my own vehicles. My login is Lotus70 and that's my current project car, a 70 Lotus Elan +2S. It's a fibreglass car but most of the modifications I've made were to metal. It's a work in progress and I'm sure I'll have questions to ask and progress to post.

I've learned much from this trove of ideas and talent and would hate to get left behind for lack of an intro, but I totally see where you're coming from. Count me in...
