Default Steve Hill

Hello just found this site and am looking forward to learning and sharing. I have a custom metal and woodworking shop in Costa Mesa Ca. Most of my work is for the marine industry. A lot of stainless, handrails to light fixtures. My biggest hobby is Baja. I have built several off road buggies. I just finished one for a friend and I have two more in the shop now. I have hammer formed and bead rolled panels and dashes and wish I could make a living just doing that. If anybody is in my area and needs a hand just ask.

Thanks, Steve

Welcome to Allmetalshaping Steve!

I used to race VW based dune buggies myself back in the 80's, those cars are a blast. I was pretty amazed at how much fun one could have with a mild cam, 200 thou shaved of the deck of the cylinder heads, and a 45 gallon barrel of av-gas over the course of a weekend.

It would be terrific to see some pictures of the buggies you've been working on. We've got a few guys here who dabble in stainless too, those stainless fixtures sound interesting..
