Default hello from da 'burgh

Hey everybody, my name is Chuck. I'm 22 and I discovered this site through garagejournal after looking at some threads focused on patch repair techniques. I hope to learn enough to perform some rust repair on my car, it's got some rocker and wheel well rust that needs to be taken care of. Right now I have more time than money so I figured I'd give it a shot. I picked up a mig welder for a rear suspension overhaul project this past summer and hope to put it to further use and (hopefully) improve my metalworking skills in the process. I figure it's a great skillset to have. Thanks in advance to all of the members here who provide input, communities like this one are awesome resources.

Hi Chuck, welcome to the site. making patch repairs is a good place to start and you don't need a vast number of tools to get started either.
