Default New from So-Cal

Hi everyone,
I haven't laid a bead down since high school but I'm finally getting back into restoring my 60 Oldsmobile and want to be able to do as much as I can on my own. I'd really like to fill some holes and put in some patch panels with an oxy/gas set up as well as get out some minor dings. I'm open to any ideas and directions to go. Can't wait to get involved on here!
Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason, In my opinion you have a headstart with wanting to work with gas welding. I do about 90% of my welding with gas. It is best for aluminium and I use it for steelwork as well. If the weld are done right it is possible to get great results with very little distortion.

Welcome to the site!

David
