Hi everyone,
I haven't laid a bead down since high school but I'm finally getting back into restoring my 60 Oldsmobile and want to be able to do as much as I can on my own. I'd really like to fill some holes and put in some patch panels with an oxy/gas set up as well as get out some minor dings. I'm open to any ideas and directions to go. Can't wait to get involved on here! Thanks, Jason |

Hi Jason, In my opinion you have a headstart with wanting to work with gas welding. I do about 90% of my welding with gas. It is best for aluminium and I use it for steelwork as well. If the weld are done right it is possible to get great results with very little distortion.
Welcome to the site! David
