My name is Ian, im from Bourbonnais, Il. Currently living in Sacramento, Ca. im going to school at Wyo tech. Taking street rod and custom fabrication. I enjoy the school. It has its ups and downs. but overall its a great place to start. With a passion and drive to advance I am trying to learn as much as i can about shaping metal, and other fabrication. After school, I would like to get a job building some of the nicest cars out there. Until then I will continue to learn, and gain more and more experience.

Hello Ian, Welcome the site. I have seen some of Jays work on the HAMB. He has a lot of passion for his work especially for a young guy and he does a good job so you are in good company. Its good to see young people interested in this stuff.

I got the pleasure of meeting Ian at the Santa Cruz meet. Along with his two friends Nathen and Casey. They drove up from Sacramento just to be there on Sunday. They all three watched as we pulled a FSP off of a 1/2 motor cyle tank that Shawn Marsh did the day before. they all decide to make one so I cut some material gave them some basics and let loose
![]() They used the thumbnail shrinker, bammbamm, Mechammer and the English wheel. santa cruz 2011 111.jpg I think Nathen is using the E-wheel and Ian (back toward you)and Casey are talking at the front of the trailer. These three Wyotech students sure had a good time!!!! They even helped me move all my machines on the trailer and help tie them off for the ride home. Thanks again guys and your welcome anytime

You are right David, he sure does have a lot of passion. It definitely shows through his metal work. You should check out some of his upholstery work as well. It blows me away.
Rick: Thank you for letting us come down for the day, we all three had a great time. It was well worth drive, I would do it again any day. We all learned a lot just in the short time. I also appreciate you letting us use your tools all day, It was a great learning experience. Between Ron, Kent, you, and the pizza it was and awesome day. Thank you again for planning it all !
