Reformed Carpenter
Carpenter - Well home builder mostly, able to do plumbing, electrical, design, grading, framing etc. . Really only last couple years working with metal to any extent. This bought bought a mig, grinders and then built ss exhaust manifold to mate up to turbo on my car. My immediate need is to build some fenders for my Lotus 7 replica sports car. I was at Harbor Freight today and couldn't turn down the lower bearing set for an English wheel so now I have to build the rest. Its either aluminum or fibreglass as I need lite weight.
car, fenders, english wheel, hope this isn't draining the swamp and crocidiles......

Hi Ingmar, Welcome to allmetalshaping. Were you saying you intend to build a wheeling machine frame from 'glass or ally? either would be a good idea. (imo)
