Default Another Newby intro

Hi all I'm Leon Renaud I'm 58 I live in North Grosvenordale Ct. and just starting out setting up a home sheet metal shop.I've been blacksmithing for a bunch of years as a living history interpreter doing Colonial era crafts. I worked many years as a weldor but don't have a lot of fine sheet metal working skills being my work was much more industrial than automotive or art metals related. I'm now looking at stretching my skills to maybe making formed fenders or a bike gas tank. One of my long term goals is to make a complete suit of armor from scratch just an average "battle suit" nothing super fancy or engraved. I joined here for the accumulated Knowledge I find here just in browsing as a guest ! I don't know that I'll be posting alot as I'm here to learn .
Leon
