Default Hi, Brent from Arkansas

Hello, Brent from Arkansas. My son-in-law and I are working on starting a classic car restoration shop in Little Rock, Arkansas. My son-in-law completed his auto collision training at Pulaski Tech and we are now working on our first restoration project, 1969 VW Bug. Currently, the plan is to turn it into a woodie based upon some examples we have seen in the Yahoo VW Woodies sites. Of course, no woodie is complete without the infamous hood and fenders. So...joining this site in order to learn how to create hood and venders appropriate for the woodie.

Hi Brent,

I had never heard of a woody vw before. low and behold I googled it! Looks to be a fun project. I could see a lot of opportunity to really do some creative metal shaping! Be sure to start a thread just for your project so we can all follow along!
