Well, after almost 2-1/2 decades in the military I'm starting a new hobby. Trying to learn how to weld and all other things metal. Picked up a 68 scout with factory installed rust option. Looking for info on how to r bring her back.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. I recently joined also.
Congratulations on the Scout purchase. Unfortunately, most of them have the rust, by now. A friend of mine has done a lot or work on his scout & it's an ongoing project

Hi TJ, Welcome, What part of AZ. are you located? I am also in the north Phoenix area and am a newbe. I restored a Jeep wagon so am familar with the rust issues. Had to make all my panels. This is the best site I have found but not too much going on in Phoenix area. Jim
