Default Hi from Arizona

Well, after almost 2-1/2 decades in the military I'm starting a new hobby. Trying to learn how to weld and all other things metal. Picked up a 68 scout with factory installed rust option. Looking for info on how to r bring her back.

TJ, welcome and thanks for the introduction. Hope you enjoy the site and find it helpful. Does everyone call you TJ? Lots of parts available for the Scout IIs. Thanks for joining us.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. I recently joined also.
Congratulations on the Scout purchase. Unfortunately, most of them have the rust, by now.
A friend of mine has done a lot or work on his scout & it's an ongoing project

Hi TJ, Welcome, What part of AZ. are you located? I am also in the north Phoenix area and am a newbe. I restored a Jeep wagon so am familar with the rust issues. Had to make all my panels. This is the best site I have found but not too much going on in Phoenix area. Jim
