Hey Guys and Gals,
Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Jonathan. I recently graduated with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, but my real passion is working on my '75 BMW 2002. I've spent the last three years resto-modding it, and have come to the conclusion that some knowledge of metal shaping would be very beneficial to my project (it spend many winters in Detroit, so there was a lot of rust). I'm hoping to fabricate my own E-wheel and maybe a planishing hammer, then see where it takes me. For those that are interested here is the build thread for my 2002: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show...hlight=sleeper Ultimately I would love to be able to fabricate my own metal fender flares, but I'm sure I'm still a ways off from that kind of work.
