Default Hello from Birmingham UK

Hi Everybody,

Just a few words of introduction, live in Birmingham UK, interested in Aircraft restoration and learning more about the skills required for sheet metal work required for such projects.
Hoping to be in touch with like minded people and hoping that there are others local to me.

Regards

John

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum, from a fellow brummie
On my travels foraging for classic car parts, I came across a farmer who had a few classic cars, he showed me into one of his barns, he had a very nice Lotus. As I was looking around the barn, I happened to notice what looked like a fuselage, not just any fuselage, but the ultimate big boys toy.... a Spitfire!!!
I couldn't get my breath, scratch built, blew me away!!
Any way, plenty learn here, dig in.
