Default Hello from North Cornwall

I found this site looking for info on Brookland Can exhausts, and have been lurking since.

I have collected most of the tools needed for metal shaping, all i need to do now is find the skills to use them, Which is why i am an accomplished lurker.

Pending projects are -

1953 Jampot AJS

1932 Excelsior J.A.P Senior T.T. works bike.

1928 Austin 20 car.

Dennis, welcome and thanks for the introduction. Hope you are learning enough on the site to use your tool and restore your bikes. If you get a chance we would like to see some of your work, we like pictures. Thanks for joining us, enjoy the site.

Hi Joe,

I have not done much recently, apart from building myself a new workshop, and have just got to the point where a lot of my kit can come out of storage.

One job is to make (or buy) some lower wheels for my Keetona english wheel.

Hi Dennis.

Welcome from Barnstaple, ya thats right just up the road, last night it was Paul33 from Highbridge Somerset.

This is a great place to exchange ideas and methods, real friendly bunch, if your stuck just ask no matter how trivial you may think the question is, there's a mountain of information here just waiting to be unlocked.

Many years ago I used to pillion on a 1000 Borough, I think that had a fishtail rather than a Brookland, correct me if I'm wrong.

Enjoy

Dennis.

A tip on posting photos, if you create an album when you want to post the pic click the pic and underneath you will see its URL, copy that and then paste in your post, what that does by having an album it keeps it within the site for future ref.

When I post pics I always have 2 tabs open, 1 for the post and the other for the album, hope it helps.
