Default Hulllooo!!!

Hiya Everyone,

Just signed up here, I`m 32 from Derby, UK I work as an IT techy in a school, and i`m seriously into my motorbikes, at the moment iv got a Virago 750SE which has turned into a bit of a project. I have already resprayed it, but i`m looking to change the rear fender and some other bits as well as trying to improve its overall look. having scoured the net for days I refused to pay £150 for a plastic mudguard so took it on myself to find out how I can make my own.

I do most of my own bike repairs but, i`m under no illusion that i`m taking on a learning curve and in some circles metal shaping is considered a black art, but i`m one of these people who is prepared to have a bash.

So expect me hanging round the motorcycle section maybe in the rodders section to (even tho I dont have a car license, I love the look of rodders, and I assume some of the skills are transferable) and certainly in the beginners section.

see you all soon
