Hi all!

I'm a car guy who finally has the resources to get into restoring/building rods and customs. I gravitate more towards classics and old skool traditional stuff, but I very much need to acquire the skills necessary to "love and massage" these old souls back to health!

Initially I have been trying my hand with hammer and dolly with mixed results (however better than expected!). Would love to learn and acquire skills related to making patch panels and using standard tools like brake, shear and shrinker/stretchers. I also very much want to learn the CRAFTSMANSHIP and proper techniques of the hammer and dolly, English wheel, hammer forming, heating and cooling, mig welding, etc.

I'm a quick study and pretty sharp guy who is good with his hands. For the most part this is going to be a self-taught/learning from this forum and other resources venture.

However, I KNOW this will be a learning process!! I do have a resolve and passion for learning and applying these techniques to the best of my abilities, getting my finished work out on the road and into the wind.

Cheers~~

Howard
