I have been watching all the shows on discovery on bike building, bringing old things back to life, and car restoration has me digging deeper to learn how it's done. As I dig I have seen many methods on how to manipulate metal and I want more. I have a small 30x30 shop and slowly buying tools to fill it up. I travel across the country with my work which gives me little time to get my hands dirty but with this site I hope to hits some seminars, read on skills, or meet some people to give me some instructions. Right now I have a baileigh mag brake, and miller 211 welder. I'm going to start building up different mallets, dollies, sand bag and build a stump to start with the basic bowl. I see myself as a greenhorn with it all but with time and drive I hope to make cool things, maybe a diesel rat rod.
