Default Hello from Sean , Glasshouse mountains, Australia

hello
I have been restoring and racing old dirtbikes for around 10 years now, and as part of that I,ve learnt to tig and gas weld, fabricate quite a few bits and pieces, roll cones for two stroke exhausts etc. so I have always been fascinated by metal work.

I really admire some of the aluminium shaping work done by people on some of the older bikes/planes cars whatever, and I saw this site recommended, and was quite excited when I had a look as my knowledge on this area is pretty limited.

Id like to learn some of the skills and tools needed for working aluminium as I have a ccm bike which is mostly metal(not plastic) and id like to craft a few bits and pieces .

Well that's my story!
