Default Howdy

I'm new to this forum and metal working. I'm in the Houston Texas area and looking to learn more. I'm re-building a 79 Jeep Cherokee, doing a body off. Call it a re-build because it will have an '06 5.3 L and a 4L60E from an Avanlanche, mated to an 82 Jeep NP 208. The rest of the outside will be pretty stock. Inside will have a Vintage Air heater/AC unit, seats from something with a headrest and all the sound deadening I can stuff in.

I started doing some body work and didn't want any fiberglass or bondo, so I started learning to do metal work. I enjoyed it so much I want to learn more. I too am looking for some classes in Texas. Saw Covell has one in Georgetown in April, and I'm going to try to take that one in.

So Howdy to You All!
