Default long time lurker

hey guys, not sure why I've never actually done an introduction and became a member but I'm guessing its got something to do with taking the time to sit down and type out an introduction... seems a lot like the first day of school and having to introduce myself to a bunch of new people. I've been a fabricator and custom car guy most all of my life. I spent a dime and a nickel working in the racing industry as a body hanger, chassis builder fabricator and mechanic with a heavy love for the black art of metal shaping. a few years ago, I left the racing industry to go work for Mike Kleeves at Automobile Metal Shaping. I have been humbled nearly every day since I started working there. I thought I had a pretty good handle on all things metal shaping and fabrication until I started working there. turns out, the best way to better yourself is to surround yourself with people that are better than you are. I'm here for much of the same reason. the endless pursuit of knowledge.
