Hey Everybody,
My name is Dan I am 43 and came across this site while on my search for any and all information related to metal shaping.

My brother's and I have always been into cars, bikes, machinery and pretty much anything that falls in line with that. Our main bread and butter is the machine shop we have built up over the last 20 or so years. We mainly make aftermarket auto parts, some ag and some work for oem's.
Now we are all up to the part where we can explore new things while not letting them be driven by the almighty buck (pun intended). We have another small shop at the house my youngest brother and I share. The shop is around 4-5k and houses our project cars and metal shaping equipment we have acquired so far.

I am hoping to be able to ask some questions on my current project which is making the sheet metal parts for one of our lotus 7 inspired replicas. So.far I have most of the flat panels done and have just got my scuttle "good enough" after 4 tries! I am definitely not happy with the quality of work I am currently capable of and looking to better my skills.
