Hello everyone.
My name is Charlie and I'm mostly here to read and learn. I don't do a lot of metal work, but when new things come along I try to learn as much as I can from people like yourselves and attempt things on my own if it's practical to do so. I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade and a general automotive enthusiast. Right now I'm in the process of performing some basic body repairs to my not so special 93' Mazda which involves some patch work. So I wanted to troll your forum and learn what I can about Mig welding in a panel or two. It's not the only forum I belong to so I understand the rules. I will do my best to find my own information, but I will undoubtedly have some questions some of you may find tedious. Please don't let my inexperience or lack of knowledge put you off. I have found a lot of useful information already. Thanks for letting me lurk. Charlie

Welcome to the site Charlie. I am sure everyone is happy to have as many members as possible, no matter how experienced they are.
