Default Hi, I'm Charlie

Hello everyone.

My name is Charlie and I'm mostly here to read and learn. I don't do a lot of metal work, but when new things come along I try to learn as much as I can from people like yourselves and attempt things on my own if it's practical to do so.

I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade and a general automotive enthusiast. Right now I'm in the process of performing some basic body repairs to my not so special 93' Mazda which involves some patch work. So I wanted to troll your forum and learn what I can about Mig welding in a panel or two. It's not the only forum I belong to so I understand the rules. I will do my best to find my own information, but I will undoubtedly have some questions some of you may find tedious. Please don't let my inexperience or lack of knowledge put you off.

I have found a lot of useful information already. Thanks for letting me lurk.

Charlie

Welcome to the site Charlie. I am sure everyone is happy to have as many members as possible, no matter how experienced they are.

Charlie, welcome and thanks for the introduction. Spend some time looking around the site, lots of information that will help you learn how to make patch panels. Ask questions if you have them someone will help you. Thanks for joining us.
