Default Hammer to shape, file to fit

I'm Bill Worden. I've always wanted to learn to do basic metal work, mostly to repair the rents and dents inflicted on various old vehicles I own including and Airstream trailer and an old Morgan and Travelall.

The title of your post reminded me of an old saying from my machine shop days:

Saw to shape, file to fit, hammer into place, paint to hide.
