Default A Tennessee Halfback

Hey all,

I'm originally from Massapequa NY (as a kid), then spent 30 years in Cape Coral, FL. I'm now halfway back in rural Greenback, TN. I spent 22 years as a government bureaucrat -- so I now have a desperate need to be creative AND successful.

About 6 years ago I started my metal forming hobby with a mini chopper project that is still not finished.

More recently I picked up a good running '51 Willys CJ3a with a very rough tub. I am planning to make as many of the replacement panels as I can.

I've always been a big believer in forums and community expertise. Hopefully I will be able to help as well as get help.

Thanks!

Default goats

I like ur little bike but why did you use a jack shaft on the chain?
I don't think the livestock cares about the rust on ur jeep. But you may watch
they don't try to eat it.
Keep up the good work willis jeeps are the best.

Thanks!

3 reasons really. I initially was going to run with a right side drive. I was concerned about the length of the chain. And lastly, I thought it looked cool and it allowed me to gear it up or down as needed. (I guess that was 4 reasons...)

Funny you should mention livestock.. I have goats and they have chewed off every emblem on my UTV and scoured the jeep for things to chew.
