Welcome to AllMetalShaping Rob. What kind of car are you wanting to build?

Default Type of car ?

Well i am into hotrods and english specials so was thinking of something that would fit into either scene , i have got a Triumph Herald that i'm using so as to get road tax free motoring and just a body change on the registration doc and no nasty sva inspections , i've stripped it down to rolling, running chassis and i'm going to build on that as its my first attempt from scratch i'm going to be learning a lot lol thanks for the interest Rob.

So you're going to rebody the Herald? Since you have it stripped down, I'd take some side, front, top, and rear photos. Then you can superimpose various body style on the chassis and see what works.

I had a Herald convertible back in the mid 60's. Fun car to have had in high school.

Do they have a real chassis or are they unibody? If unibody, you're going to have to deal with a relatively tall structure. The motor and drivetrain is similar to the Spitfire but the Herald is much more boxy.
