Default Beginner from St.Louis, MO

Hi all,
I've been putting a lot of effort into planning a custom chopper project. I've been reading a bunch on the different stages of a chopper project. One of those stages is crafting a gas tank and fenders for the bike wheels. I have never shaped metal before but I've been watching videos and trying to pick up on the lingo and some basics. I have been looking for classes for this type of craft but have been coming up empty here in STL. During my search I found an article on www.hotrod.com that listed this forum as a wealth of knowledge. I didn't hesitate in registering for the forum. Bike fenders seem like they would be a decent beginner metal shaping project but as most things, it is probably harder than it seems. I hope that I can pick up enough to complete this project and start on the path to being proficient in metal shaping.

Thanks
Neil
