Default Kees from the Netherlands

Hi,

I am Kees from the Netherlands (a very small country in Europe). I started thinking of building my own car in my own way, just a few weeks ago. As I see it now, it will not be a kit car or something like that, but using existing parts of a car and build a body around it.

I am a fan of the Morgan cars (the old types, stil made the way they started at 1930 or something), so probably something similar will be the idea.

I say Idea, because I am not sure whether I will start this huge challenge. On the other hand it looks like a nice way of spending my privat time.

I hope to learn something about metal shaping, because I might need it.

I bought the book Build your onw Sports Car on a budget (Haynes) and I ordered a DVD from I think david gardiner. Hopefully I will get it soon. Any suggestions information is welcome of cours.

Regards Kees

Hi Kees and welcome! Buying David's DVD was the best thing you could have done! . It will help you understand how metal is shaped. Trust me, you will watch it more then once!
