I recently found found your website when I googled superleggera construction. I had always wondered about the connection between the aluminum skin and the tube frame.
I am a retired professor of electrical and mechanical engineering and have a pretty good working knowledge of metals and metal working from an engineering standpoint, but virtually no experience with compound curves in sheet metal. If I ever get caught up on my housebuilding project, I would like to build an aluminum bodied roadster.

William -- Welcome to the list.
I've always enjoyed learning and a new challenge. Having way too much fun with aluminum shaping, as I fully understand the theory of shaping, but getting the metal to accept my inputs is the challenge. If you get back into Austin, I'm 10 miles North of Pickle Research.
