Hi there, new member here. I didn't know about this site until I started looking for some rolling dies for my Pexto bench machine. One of the sites I visited gave this URL and well, here I am.
I used to do precision sheet metal work for the computer industry but no REAL forming. Since I was turned out of the industry because of lack of work, I've been trying to learn how to form metal in other ways. I am also a motorcyclist (for more years than I like to admit), so, I thought it would be fun to mix the two. I have built a few bikes but nothing fantastic, yet, mostly just rebuilds and restorations. My latest bike is a pretty modern one, a 1972 BMW R75/5. I bought it as a incomplete pile of junk parts. The only thing it had going for it was it had a title. I've got a ways to go but it is at least rolling now. Pokie Parmidge |

Hey Pokie, welcome to Allmetalshaping. We seem to have a few interests in common. You're welcome to stop over for a visit some time. I'm on Michaud lane about 1/2 way down on the north side of the road in the big red barn.

Hi Bob and thanks for the "welcome". Yes, I would love to come see what you're up to. If you would like to email your number, I'll call and make a "date". I know very little about forming metal but I keep trying.
