Hello
I trained as an engineer at a heavy engineering company but have always had an interest in cars both modern and classic. When I started to restore my first Austin Healey I couldn't buy suitable panels so I set about making my own, this was in the mid 1980's. I can now just about make a complete car from sheet metal. It has also led to my hobby becoming a way of earning a crust! I also realise there is always something to learn so hence joining this forum. I have made or refurbished the tools I use and all of the press tools are of my own design and construction. Please have a look at my (home constructed so nothing fancy) website www.davehardwick.co.uk Dave ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hi Dave,
Welcome to the forum, nice work on those Healeys. I have a basket case 100/4 to play with, started off with a chassis, bought some panels for patterns, gonna be a few years yet before it turns a wheel. I noticed the shrinker you made with Eckold dies, cool, electrical or hydraulic? Ps I need a short engine if you know of one for sale, I'm only in Brum.
