So, other than the basic intro stuff, I'm here to learn and discuss making flat metal into non-flat metal.
I'm going to try shaping some aluminum into basic masks and armor bits. I just carved out a dishing stump and am working on a teardrop mallet to complete the set.

You may want to look into dapping blocks of various sizes and shapes in order to create small shapes in armor and masks.
Small hammers sized to suite the work at hand would work well. Details can be put in to your work using chasing tools. The tools need to fit the job at hand. Mike |
