Hi all,

I'm Jeffry from the Netherlands, 30 y/o, and I've found my way to this forum because of my interest in metalshaping. My interest has always been into building cars and bikes. Mainly cars... And have always been hobby for me. Besides building stuff I like to drag race as well.

A wish i had for years now was to get myself an english wheel and start wheeling. I knew that getting the wheel was the easy bit, and learning to use it the hard bit. So I went to the UK, to Geoff Moss at MPH motorpanels for a weeks course on sheetmetal shaping. This was a great experience, that man has truely amazing skills. He's a very crafted man that makes great pieces of art, and manages to pass on his skills to others. In that week I've learned so much that my head is now buzzing with idea's.

I've awaited to buy a wheel after the course to discuss what would be the best. So after testing some chinese wheels at various sellers I concluded that thats not the way. So now I bought hoosier wheels to built my own wheel. That would be the first project.

I'm planning on making a c-frame with top adjuster. I want to cut two c-shapes with the plasma cutter and box that to a frame.

Anyways for an impression on my previous/current project car visit my website.

I've built a Audi Sport Quattro replica, with carbon/kevlar body, 2.2l 5-cil engine, with a gt42r turbo, drysump the works. Took me 5,5 years but now it almost finished.

Cheers
Jeffer

Hi there. Thanks for the warm welcome.
@ Robert
It looks great your e-wheel. Great design, but am i fraid i do not have enough room for that size. I will certainly make a smaller wheel.
I appreciate you are willing to share the drawings. However I probably design my own wheel in Solidworks.

Also great to see that the dutch are doing some serious wheeling
