Hi to all , from little ol New Zealand . I've been lurking on here far to long , so it's time for an intro.
My name is Shayne , but most people in the hot rod hobby down here know me as Shrapnel.
Sheetmetal Engineere by trade , I've never stopped learning my trade which now lead's into the area of coachbuilding/panelbeating. I'm just over 40 and have spent the best part of the last 10 years in and around the hot rod industry of NZ, with a small amount of time in the aircraft game also. Of those past 10 years , 8 years I've been self-employed , mostly contracting my labour out as required . In the last year trying to aim at getting more work to do from home under my own banner.
I was given a link to this site about 3 -4 months ago from WOODY , and have found it to be a great wealth of knowldge. Anyway's , I'm intro'd now and looking forward to adding some post's as time allow's me.
I hope I'm not breaking the rules here, but here's a link to my website which will give you all an idea of just some of the work i've done. www.wix.com/shrappys/shrappys-wix

Cheers

Shrapnel

Welcome aboard Shrapnel, I really like that front end on the white 34. We're looking forward to seeing what you work on next.

Cheers for the warm welcome's guy's. I'm currently spending a lot of time away from home so my visits here may be a little infrequent. Back to Juniors in Wellington tomorrow (about 2hrs drive) where I'll be catching up with the WOODY and the rest of the crew who work there. Woody's been flat-out doing long hours after work on his Hardtail Harley which is looking mighty fine. Once I get a bit more time I'll post some pic's of the work I've been doing at Juniors on the 51 Chev, An interesting Kustom build to say the least.

Cheers again , and we'll catch ya's on line

Shrapnel

WOODY you're back! We were afraid we'd somehow run you off.
