Hello to all. My name is Bill, and I am from Saint Ann, Mo. This is a suburb of Saint Louis. I am semi-retired and have for many years been doing machine work and fabrication projects. I have gathered a number of metal working tools and am interested in gaining knowledge and skills. I have the typical hand tools plus a Mig and Tig welder, a bead roller and an English wheel, stretcher/shrinker, etc.
I have a Sunnen hone, cnc vertical mill and an old South Bend 16 inch lathe. A number of years ago I attended 2 of Ron Covell's seminars thrown at Jim Hervatin's fabulous shop. I found both seminars interesting and educating. I have a '26 Ford roadster on a '32 frame that I built and am now working on my '50 Mercury. I am trying to undo the rust problems. Next on the list is my '33 Chevy. It is in pretty good shape, wood-wise, but needs to be finished. |

Glad to see you on here Bill. Do you know that was 14 years ago when Ron Covell was here. I think he had about 27 guys here. Time fly's by.
well welcome
