Hi folks. New guy here doing the obligatory introductory post. I've been messing around with blacksmithing (and more specifically bladesmithing) for about six years. I've done no real sheet metal work to speak of, but I've gotten interested lately, I in part because I think it could complement my other metal working activities, partly because all aspects of metal working interest me, and partly because I think my seven-year old son might really dig some of the projects that some folks do in sheet metal. (I'm thinking mainly of armor and the like, but I'm sure I'll think of others.) I asked a question about sheet metal work on a blacksmithing forum that I read regularly, and Fe-Wood, who's a member of that forum as well as this one, suggested that I check this place out. So here I am.
