Default SteveO: A story of newbness...

SteveO here from Snohomish, WA.

I've always been into fabrication but never had the means to be able to do anything at home. After gathering the tools I need I can finally say I have a "work" area to be able to do some projects.

Lately I've been getting together materials to build a conical fementer for a friend of mine. 1/2 barrel keg with the top removed and shaping a cone to be welded to where the top used to be.

My other project is a 3/4 scale chopper. Making fenders and a gas tank to match the shape of the concept is going to be a fun one.

Looking forward to reading through the forums for some tips and tricks and getting a better understanding of how bend metal to my will...or at least have fun trying.

Hi Steve, you don't need much to start shaping metal. Welcome to the forum.
