Default Hello from Chicagoland

Hi all,
I'm looking to start my own Hot Rod shop, I'm a mechanic by trade with experiance in graphic and web design, my partner is the fabricator but will only be able to work part time to start, so I'm happily stepping up to the plate to fill in the gaps. I've read several books, have a planishing hammer class scheduled in August and a welding class in November. In the mean time I'm begining to aquire some tools and have a small project I'd like to start building, a miniature mid 60's style indy car running an electric motor with solar charger. I've already spent several hours reading through threads and know that AllMetalShaping will be a great resource, thanks to everyone who has taken the considerable time to document and explain their processes and thinking.
