Default Hello from United Kingdom

Hello all,

I am at my happiest when tinkering with my motorcycles I would love to be able to one day start fabricating parts for it, I would like to start off learning how to shape sheet metal into petrol tanks and cafe racer style seats to begin with and being a complete novice - other than watching a few DVD instructional videos, here to learn some knowledge and hopefully one day share some too!

See you around!

Thanks all, I have been looking at some of the projects on the forum and am awestruck at the talent on here! I hope I can one day achieve a fraction of that talent and Peter I am saving up to buy some of your DVD's which look excellent!

I've been struggling to find somewhere I can practically learn these skills in or around London through courses. The only ones I have found whilst looking amazing, are a bit pricey for me and as I don't have a garage or space to work, guess I will start of with a small selection of hand tools in a bag and take a trip to somewhere quiet in the park to make stuff and try learn as much as I can through here and DVD's.. Don't know how I am going to get round the welding issue though, doubt I can fit one of them in my rucksack....

They are amazing by the way! and I reccomend them to anyone who has not bought. Do please let me know if you start running courses.
