Default Hello from Ulster, PA

Hi everyone, I am Bob from Ulster. I have been a mechanical engineer for 27 years. Have a lot of metal fabrication experience on big stuff. My family built a 60 foot steel boat (from scractch). I am a good welder and hobby machinist.

I am currently repairing an F150 from rust damage. Complete dis-assembly all the way to the frame, sand blast, flame spray with zinc and then paint. I'm to the repairing body panels section now. getting much better at forming new metal for the missing pieces, welding with the tig, planishing. I am interested in improving these skills to the point of making panels. Been reading about english wheels, bead rollers, etc..

looking to improve to the pont of tackling a restoration of a 1963 Cadillac convertible.

Thanks All..
