I've wanted to learn more about mastering metal for decades, and finally have the time now in our new empty nest. With our son away at college, I look forward to learning from the countless experts in this forum. I've been a hot rodder since birth and still own a 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan which my dad bought two years before I was born. Together, we've logged well over 300,000 miles on four rebuilds since the mid 60's and hopefully our boy will put a couple hundred thousand more miles on it after I give up the keys...but that may be a few more years!
We just built a new shop behind our new empty nest out in the country. I finally have a place worthy of metal shaping and room for the tools of the trade. I have the typical TIG, MIG, Mill, Lathe, Bandsaws, chassis table, etc. and look forward to adding a planishing hammer and possible E-wheel. I enjoy the old cars & trucks, spending time in the shop and shooting sporting clays with friends. Thanks in advance for sharing your expertise with someone eager to learn how to do it the right way.
