Default Hello from the Zoo!

Hi, Kevin Mazer from Kalamazoo Michigan.

I have restored sports cars and rebuilt wrecks since I was 15. Metal shaping/welding/bodywork/paint. Recently completed Tesla P85+ and a BMW I3, all plastic! Have restored (3) 911, (2) 912, 944 Porsche. My first project was a rusted out MGB I purchased for $100. Learned a lot about rust repair on that one!

Currently building a Fokker DR.I WWI aircraft from scratch:

I have posted quite a bit/received a ton of help on the the Aerodrome Forum.

It is great when we can help each other get through the head scratchers. Always excited to see new techniques. looking for some help with the cowling work I need to do. I am also currently working at The Air Zoo as a restoration team leader restoring 2 warbirds for the NAVY. If you are in the area we need help! SBD needs to be done by June for a trip to Oshcosh then off to Pearl Harbor.

I Judge warbirds/teach welding at Sun n Fun. Riveting classes in the Zoo. Co-chair at Oshcosh. Love to see the younger generations get excited about metalwork!
