Default Hello from Whitby, Canada

I met a few of the guys at Tom Thomas' weekend metal shaping meet in
Whitby. It was great! The guys at the meet pointed me in the right direction and got me started shaping some metal and the result was a nice steel bowl.

I have been metalworking as a hobby of years mostly in machining parts to
restore machine tools and motorcycles. I recently completed a
course at Durham college in TIG welding and I am happy to share any
info I have gathered and look forward to learning from others on the site.

I have a 1973 Norton Commando with a fiberglass gas tank and I would love
to make a steel tank of the same general shape but a bit bigger to replace
it.
