Hi All,
My name is Matt aka 'number8wire'. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I grew up with a hacksaw in my hand and have some degree of formal training in Machining and welding. I have a small workshop where I spend my spare time building and modifying custom motorcycles. I have recently purchased a planishing hammer and english wheel. I have grand plans to build gas tanks amongst other things, but have decided to start with body parts first to hone my skills(leaky gas tanks =  , fenders and cowlings cant leak!)I have joined this site to gain knowledge in metal shaping and to share knowledge as my skill set broadens.
