Hi all,
I became a licensed and certified aircraft mechanic (A&P) in 1973. I had to demonstrate competency in gas welding and aluminum fabrication at that time. Worked as a mechanic and millwright to support myself as I finished up college as an electronic engineer. Basically never really got back to those old skills in any significant way since then. Always wanted to but life gets in the way. I'm not even sure that I can stick two pieces of metal together anymore. I always wanted to get back to learning some basic fabricating skills to mess with in my old age. I have been working on a design for a cyclekart (www.cyclekarts.com) and am going to start building up my tool box and learning new skills. That's my story and I'm stickin with it...
