Default Hello! Sheet metal hobby. Cold-forming career

Hello!

I stumbled upon your forum while looking for metal sand casting & furnace supplies and thermoplastic molding supplies. I am in the process of building my own melting furnace(s) for metals, and my own plastic injection molding machine(s) & vacuum forming machine(s). Also intend to build some of my own machinery (milling machine, lathe) with some of the castings. I'll be building a still in the near future to produce fuel alcohol, so my sheet metal and copper sheet forming and assembly skills need to be expanded beyond those few things I've done over the years. I've spent my career engineering cold-formed fasteners & tooling, fastener assembly R&D, and assembly troubleshooting for companies that make earth moving equipment, heavy trucks (18-wheelers), lawn & garden, aircraft, automotive, home appliances, hvac, aerospace, electronics . . .

I hope that you will favor me with membership to your forum.

Thanks!
F. William "Bill"
