Default Hello from Portland Oregon

Hello. My name is Charles Erwin.

I have a very small shop and currently am restoring a Jeep Wagoneer Limited - to say nothing of making other early date auto sheet metal panels for friends.

Since the shop is very small the tool approach is very simple - stump from the yard, wood hammers (mallets) also from the yard, post dollies, hand dollies, hammers, slappers accumulated over the years. All my welding is gas welding. Have grown tired of hand planishing panels - so I will end my shop tooling acquisitions once I find a quality english wheel in the half size version so to speak.

I look forward to seeing what others with "small shop - big job" attitude are producing.
