Hello my name is Tom Jäeger, I came across your site and thought I would apply. I have always been Interested in all phases of metal working, shaping, joining, fabricating. I am now wanting know more about fine sheet metal working technics for the hot rod industry. For starters I have a all steel 1933 Ford phaeton I am building, and it will need the finish metal work. I also buy, and sell metal working equipment as well.

My back ground is in metal working of all phases. I have been a Metal smith for 45 yrs. My education is in welding technology and metallurgy.
I am an established Artist Blacksmith in the architectural field for past 30 yrs. Prior to that a proficient metal fabricator in the auto racing industry for 10 yrs. I have a complete shop of equipment including industrial size forging hammers (Nazel, Chambersburg) upsetters, shears, saws, mills, lathes, surface grinders, planishing hammers, shrinkers, English wheel, tig welders, plasma cutting, and welding machines, iron worker, benders, platens, and all the hand tools need to for up to 6 men working in the shop. We have primarily been focused on site specific art metal work for architectural items on up scale homes, and resort communities. I have worked with copper, stainless, aluminum, bronzes, high, and low strength steels.
