I am a retired manufacturing engineer from the automotive sector. Specifically I was responsible for the final assembly and testing equipment associated with building Halfshafts worldwide for GM/Delphi.
This included the process concept, cost estimating, purchase specing, quoting, desigining and errorproofing, building, runoff, installation, and qualification in countries like Germany, Italy, China, Mexico, Brazil and of course the US. My web site shows our passion for travel to all 7 continents, flying RC aircraft planes and helis, and Scuba. At home I relax with metal fabrication and welding of structural steel, SS, and aluminum. Admittedly I have no experience with metal shaping on rollers and wheels and hope to learn from this site. Regards, G. Cross www.crosstravel.us
