Default Howdy From Central Minnesota

Howdy - My name is Ron and I live in rural Minnesota about an hour west of the twin cities.

I was an Aviation Structural Mechanic in the Coast Guard and enjoyed doing sheet metal work. Hydraulics - not so much

I finally retired for good (I hope) and have started putting together a small shed/shop to tinker and make stuff out of sheet metal.

Recently purchased a DiAcro 24" hand shear and am looking for a 24" box and pan brake.

First projects will likely be ham radio related.

I am looking forward to meeting other members.

Ron

Thanks for the replies!

RichardK, I live between Dassel and Hutchinson.

We've lived here in MN for two years, moving up from North Texas, where we lived for 7 years, after 25 years in Alaska. Just couldn't stand the heat in Texas - love the state, though. Wife grew up in MN so it is good to be back near family.
