New member from SC
Hello everyone. I am trying to find good information on metal projects. There is so much junk and false or misleading information on line that you almost cant weed through it. It is refreshing to find a recommended source of information for quality and accurate information. I found this site through a seller, Hoosier Profiles, on eBay. I restore cars and am looking for info on making tools. I am interested in building an English wheel, a Planishing hammer and a bead roller. I also build Smokers for fun. I enjoy cooking and try to make subtle changes to my smokers to improve their cooking qualities. I just finished building a stand that allows for foot operation of my shrinker/stretcher. I have also built a full body rotisserie a couple of years ago. And a smaller version as a frame rotisserie. Typically I see a need and I try to fill it by making the tool needed. Of course sometimes it becomes cost prohibitive to build instead of buy. Thanks for reading this and I look forward to reading this forum and gleaning some knowledge. Thanks again, Doug
