Default new guy from georgia

i have been a welder since my grandpa started trying to teach me at 12 started welding for pay at 16 in stepdads shop.after 3 years in army tryed truck driving,worked as emt and as a millwright then got so sorry i became a feedmill manager.i make welded art pieces and bbq smokers and have built a beater bag stand out of a mack truck cam shift and am waiting on my wife to saw my leather sand bag so i can try beating some metal.just want to learn some tricks and tips.

Duane,

Welcome to the site! I don't know why no one has welcomed you as yet... they must all be out in the shop! Anyway, you should be able to learn a whole lot on this site as there are people here who are very talented sheet metal workers and there are absolute beginners and everything in between. Don't worry about asking questions and if you are doing something and get stumped, send a picture...someone will be able to advise you.
