Default New from St Athan/Cardiff, UK

Hello.

Rob Thomas.

I've got a garage full of unfinished projects and a great desire to learn some of the 'lost arts' of metalworking. I've made panels for my aeroplane and vintage cars, I can TIG weld, I can make wiring looms, rebuild wooden aircraft fuselages and other such things.

Hoping to join this community to learn more and perhaps exchange my skills with others. I made some sets of exhaust manifolds recently in exchange for some metal casting work. Fair exchange and no money changes hands. Everyone is a winner!

Thanks, guys.

Just as I get onto the forum I have to go to India for 2 weeks so I'll post again when I get back. Typical bad timing!

Hi Rob, great minds think alike, one of the first names I see on joining this forum is CardiffRob from the Mig Welding Forum!
